We are looking for an IT Manager to lead our local IT team and provide first class IT support to our Innovation Center and global functions on site, enabling us to bring new innovations to the market.

About The Role

As IT Manager you will be the head of the IT team in Sweden, Vårgårda, and a key point of contact for global and divisional IT. You are responsible to maintain the local infrastructure (HW and SW) and in charge to deploy the global IT strategy. You, together with your team, will contribute to end-2-end innovation application development.

You will be responsible to improve the level of IT service and customer satisfaction as well as work close with local management and the global IT organization to deploy IT standard solutions, but also support the agile transformation in the Innovation Center to support all functions represented on site.

Together with your team of 3 individuals you will manage day-to-day activities such as support to end-users and incident management, provide technical support and maintenance of local applications (MES, traceability, Simulation, CAE, crash test). In addition, you will manage IT related projects in line with the global IT strategy deployment and local needs. In this role you report to the Head of Site.

About You

We are looking for a person who can understand and deploy the global IT strategy, who can take local constraints and specifics into account when executing on the strategy. You possess network knowledge (LAN, AD, SCCM, SQL Server) as well software development knowledge (web).

Furthermore, you are a leader who thrives to develop both people and organization within your field. You can build strong teams with emphasis on trust, teamwork, and empowerment, as well as connect to internal and external stakeholders to utilize their expertise when needed. To be successful in this role you can create a clear structure and set targets, as well as having good communication skills and ability to have a strategic view and initiate relevant projects for improvements. You lead by example, integrity and empathy, are curious and willing to work close with the business to develop and implement needed IT tools and infrastructure.

On a formal level you have a bachelor’s in computer engineering or other relevant area and at least 2-5 years of experience as an IT leader, managing people and organization. You are fluent in both Swedish and English, both verbally and written.
