We are now looking for a Information Architect to our Insight & Analytics team, this role will be key, as you’ll contribute towards our success within our Data Strategy; our primary objective is ensuring our processes and infrastructure align, providing confidence that our data is accurate, secure, private and protected through legislation and policies, and driving a data thinking culture.

THE ROLE

This role is a key resource in making the development of a new data warehouse with its reporting platform a success. The role's main task is to act as the functional information architect for decision support, ensuring that Strawberry has the right foundation of data to support decisions and analysis, with well-defined KPIs and definitions across business units.

Task Includes But Are Not Limited To

Develop and manage logical data models supporting the current and future business models for Strawberry.
Act as the primary information architect in projects further developing the decision support solution.
Ensure that data models for decision support to a certain extent possible are agnostic to specific solutions used by the hotels in areas like property management, point of sales and meeting & events.
Manage data definitions and KPIs across business units, as well as links between KPIs and underlying data models.
Work as a key ‘intermediate’ between business units and technical BI teams, “translating” business requirements into data requirements.
Enforce principles for data governance across business units and the decision support platform, with clear data ownership, security, privacy and quality.
Ensure the right ‘mapping’ of data definitions across source systems, ensuring that decision support can be based upon “comparing apples and apples”.
Work closely with the technical solution architects and implementation projects to maximize the ability for the operational IT systems to provide high-quality input to decision support.

Who Are You

Masters degree in computer science, mathematics or statistics, relevant experience can compensate education
Experience and interest in the role of information as a value creator
Good written and oral presentation skills
Experience in Business, information or integration architecture
Knowledge about Data transformation and data modelling
Knowledge about Platforms for collecting, sharing and consuming data,
Interest and experience in work with Data warehouse and Data science and analytics
Good business understanding
Commercial interest
Results oriented
