Experience:
- 4-6 years of proven experience in IT service management or related roles.
- Solid understanding of BMC Helix CMDB and Discovery.
ITIL Framework:
- ITIL Foundation certification is essential.
- Strong understanding and application of ITIL best practices and frameworks in CMDB management.
Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of SQL queries for data management.
- Experience with CMDB Dynamic Service Modeling.
- Understanding of Atrium Integrator Spoon for bulk data imports.
Communication & Organizational Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders at various levels.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail to ensure compliance with ITSM processes.
Desired Skills:
- Good experience with BMC Helix modules, including Helix Dashboard and SmartIT.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Discovery in addition to BMC Discovery.
- Experience with troubleshooting CMDB sync issues and ensuring the accuracy of the data.
