The role
In this role you will perform design work to create durable and safe installation of electrical driveline components into the chassis. You will be focusing on crash safety & durability and chassis development for the BEV trucks. The work will be CAD intense and materials to be used is everything between forged to sheet metal.
Responsibilities
• You will lead a defined area of technical expertise, with high technical complexity.
• Drive the development from research/early phases of development to product maintenance.
• Ensure the design fulfills the business targets/ requirements.
• Develop and share acquired competence (e.g. training) and provide technical advice.
• Manage networking across the organization and other sites.
Requirements
• B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar.
• Highly skilled in Creo or equivalent system
• Experience of design for durability
* Experience of design for Passive Safety features (crash structures)
• Experience from packaging of big complex CAD modules and to drive progress from geometrical architect point of view
• Experience in design work in sheet metal and casting
