Developer to SAS
Scandinavian Airlines’ Loyalty Solutions team at SAS Digital & IT is looking for 1 Developer to be part of driving our development roadmap within our feature team “EuroBonus Commercial Development”.
This feature team build digital services that help loyal EuroBonus members get an enhanced experience when travelling with SAS and our airline partners, as well as through non-air offers through our vast network of business partners.
Our stakeholders are many and no day is the other day alike, which is one reason why our team has such a passion in what we do.
To continue our transformation journey we are looking for 1 full stack developer, with emphasis on frontend development, to bring further energy, competence and skills to our team.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Be To
- Understand needs from business and translate them into working software in the EuroBonus area, but also be supportive to working with our team full backlog.
- Secure application compliance with regulation (GDPR, Accessibility) and SAS IT security
- Understand when and how to make performance optimizations and trade-offs
- Work with a continuous CI/CD mindset and continuous cost-optimization focus.
- Develop digital products and solutions based on MVP models that can scale to enterprise solutions.
- Work in close collaboration with the Senior Developer in our feature team for EuroBonus Commercial Development, as well as close together with our Digital Project Owners and our department Tech Lead to secure delivery according to the business backlog.
- Proactively suggest digital solutions that can help the organization meet its goals
- Be part of our on-call rotation together with our entire DevOps-team securing our services are running stable 24/7.
Main Tech Skills And Competence
- Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks
- Proficiency with Node.js and Typescript
- Hands-on experience in React.js web applications
- Experience with API integrations (RESTful APIs primarily)
- Experience with test automation, unit tests.
- Familiarity with database technology such as AzureSQL, Postgres and MongoDB
- Familiarity with micro frontend architectures
- Accessibility and web app performance improvement experience.
