Role And Responsibilities
As a Production Engineer, you are responsible for leading and developing production processes with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, safety, and manufacturability. You play a key role in introducing new products, improving assembly solutions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Drive cost reduction & efficiency
- Develop methods and tools to the production
- Drive quality improvements
- Handle demands (internal, external)
- Execute and support improvements
Qualifications
To be successful in this role we believe that you have:
- Experience in production or manufacturing environments.
- Technical degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical).
- Familiarity with product introductions and phase-in/phase-out processes.
- Hands-on involvement in cross-functional technical projects.
- Fluency in Swedish and English (including training and communication skills).
Technical Skills
- Basic 3D CAD knowledge (e.g., Solid Edge).
- Understanding of Design for Assembly (DFA).
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office 365.
Lean & Process Improvement
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing (flow, standard work, first-time quality).
- Skills in process optimization (Takt Time, operator balancing, pull systems).
- Proficiency with Lean tools: 5S, Problem Solving, Kaizen, Standard Work, VSM, Poka-Yoke.

Additional Information
This is a full-time permanent position based at DeLaval’s headquarters in Tumba, south of Stockholm. We offer a hybrid workplace model, allowing flexibility to work remotely.
